Volunteer Training Dates

Become a volunteer and join Make-A-Wish® Oregon in making memories for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

New Volunteers

Help make wishes come true by becoming a volunteer. At this orientation, we will share information about the Make-A-Wish® mission, standard policies, volunteer opportunities and chapter requirements. You'll receive a volunteer application for the next step in becoming a Make-A-Wish volunteer. Wish Granters

To become a volunteer wish granter, you must attend additional training. There will also be on-going lunch-n-learns to share ideas with each other.

Wish-Granting Training:
Volunteers who have attended a New Volunteer Orientation are invited to attend our Wish-Granting Training.  We will be sharing information about procedures for conducting a wish interview, filling out necessary forms and best practices to ensuring a wonderful wish experience for you and the wish family.
