The annual Waffles & Wishes breakfast at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront raised more than $60,000 for granting the wishes of local children with life-threatening medical conditions.
More than 400 guests joined-in to see 16-year old wish child Geanna’s wish to go to Hershey Park, the Oregon chapter’s first wish child’s dad Greg Wiedeman, wish brother Andrew O’Neal, wish child Jaime Mathis and current wish granting volunteers Dustin Zimmerman and Lezli Goheen.
KATU anchor Debora Knapp once again shared her wonderful talents with Make-A-Wish Oregon by emceeing the breakfast. She's been a dedicated supporter of the mission for many years.
Thank you to everyone who attended Waffles & Wishes for making it a huge success.
