Wish Child to DJ Summer Wishes Party
Annual cocktail party to support local wish kids
Portland (June 4, 2016) – For a 13-year-old boy with a rare immune disorder, tasks most people do on a daily basis can be a challenge. Despite the difficulties, Diego found joy in music. In 2014, Make-A-Wish® granted his wish to have his own DJ equipment.
Since then, DJ Diego – as he’s called now – has performed live in some of the hottest venues in Las Vegas. On Saturday, June 4, DJ Diego brings his talent to Portland to DJ Make-A-Wish® Oregon’s annual Summer Wishes Party, presented by Trusted Choice and Widmer Brothers Brewing.
The party takes place at Motocorsa in Northwest Portland and kicks off at 7:00 p.m. More than 300 people are expected. The evening features music by DJ Diego, a Widmer Brothers Beer Garden, dancing, food, drinks and opportunities for attendees to help grant wishes to local children with life-threatening medical conditions.
This year, Make-A-Wish Oregon hopes to grant 225 wishes to children in Oregon and Clark County, Washington. For more information about Summer Wishes, click here.
