Sophie's wish comes true on Believe Day


It's a magical day for a little girl who loves unicorns as Make-A-Wish Oregon surprised her with the mythical creature on Believe Day! Macy's rolled out the red carpet for six-year-old Sophie at Clackamas Town Center. Sophie's playroom was transformed into a unicorn-themed movie theater while she received a unicorn makeover at the store, and much more.

Daniel's wish to have a Bowser playhouse comes true


A Springfield boy's wish has come true thanks to Make-A-Wish Oregon and Rainbow Valley Design and Construction. Daniel, 8, is battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. His biggest wish is to have his own Bowser-inspired playhouse on his family's Springfield property, and that's now a reality. He was surprised with the playhouse when he came home from school Thursday afternoon.

When Saul was diagnosed with cancer right before his senior year in high school, he spent a lot of time in the hospital and witnessed other kids battling their illnesses. That’s when he knew that being a doctor was his calling. Now 18 and headed to college, he says his wish to have a college scholarship will help give him the opportunity he needs to succeed.
