Honoring Local Kids and Their Brave Fight Against Life-Threatening Medical Conditions

Community invited to Wish Ball to help make wishes come true

Portland, Ore. (October 25, 2014) – Eleven-year-old Lief wishes to meet his pen pal. Four-year-old Carter wishes to go to LEGOLAND®.  Seven-year-old Ruby wishes for a princess makeover. You can help make wishes like these come true at the annual Wish Ball, presented by Royal Caribbean International.

Wish Ball is Make-A-Wish Oregon's premier celebration of the many wishes granted, as well as those that we hope to make come true in the coming year. The gala takes place Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. at the Portland Art Museum. Throughout the evening, we will highlight some of our local wish, including four-year-old Soren who wished to be in a monster movie. You’ll see how he “rescued” his sister from some very mean monsters. It will be an evening of live music, dancing, hors d'oeuvres, wine, and silent auctions to support the meaningful work that Make-A-Wish Oregon does in the community.

Help us honor the brave children and their fight against a life-threatening medical condition. Join us for Wish Ball. Tickets are just $75. For more information, go to oregon.wish.org.

A special thank you to our sponsors: Royal Caribbean International, Alaska Airlines, Paulson Coletti Trial Attorneys PC, and Pacific Seafood for making this event possible.
